Solar Eclipse Lecture with JPL's Dr. William Owen
Come learn all about solar eclipse's from JPL's own Dr. William Owen. Dr. Owen has been in JPL's Mission Design and Navigation Section since 1979, specializing in optical navigation (using spacecraft imagery to help determine the trajectory) and ground based optical astrometry. He has been an eclipse enthusiast since he first saw one as a kid.
Attendees will receive a pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses while supplies last. Just in time for the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017.
